Lack of 2020 Vision

2020 and Covid-19 – I guess no-one had 2020 vision… well, I certainly didn’t in my last post 2 years ago! Such high expectations only to find I not only fell off the wagon, but I got dragged behind it for so long I didn’t know if I was going to survive. But I did, and I’m back here again. Funny thing is however that I decided to do some further studies – to upgrade to a Bachelor Degree for my acting, and to do new studies into bookkeeping. I already have some experience doing bookkeeping for my own small dance business, so it felt like the right thing to do to be able to offer another service in the arts and entertainment industry.

Right now in my acting studies I’m doing a class called Career Planning… probably couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve always believed things happen for a reason and now most of 2020 is over, it’s a good time to rethink what I will want to achieve over the next few years.

So in the words of Liza Minelli’s rendition of “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret:

“…All the odds are in my favour
Something’s bound to begin,
It’s got to happen, happen sometime
Maybe this time,
Maybe this time, I’ll win
!”
